All Rohloff Speedhub 500/14 versions that do not have the additional designation OEM or OEM2 are equipped with the long standard torque support for torque support on the frame. This must first be bolted to the axle plate (CC or TS).

The Monkey Bone by Rohloff replaces the combination of a SPEEDBONE adapter and a standard IS-PM adapter and thus makes it easier to use the Rohloff OEM2 axle plate in combination with PostMount disc brakes. Thanks to a special mount, the OEM2 axle plate can be inserted directly to transfer the torque through the Monkey Bone adapter.

TS (Touring Screw [Axle]) stands for screw axles with M10x1 axle nuts. The long version has a longer axle journal for particularly thick dropouts. It also offers the option of mounting bicycle trailers or rear stands. Rohloff Speedhub can be used on frames with IS2000 standard brake disc mounts. With the OEM2 axle plate the torque can directly be supported by the frame. The long torque arm will no longer be necessary. If a disc brake is mounted the Rohloff Speedbone is needed in addition to the CC OEM2 axle plate.

Frames with disk brake mounts of IS2000 international standard can replace the use of the long torque arm of the Rohloff Speedhub 500/14 with an OEM2 axle plate and a support bolt. For use in conjunction with a disc brake, the Speedbone adapter also has to be mounted.

The PM Bone allows mounting of a Rohloff Speedhub on frames (135mm, 142mm, 170mm, 177mm) with a direct post mount brake mount (for 160mm or 180mm discs). In order to derive the hogging moment of the hub over the PM Bone into the frame, a PM axle plate must be used. The PM Bone is mounted between the frame and brake caliper and thus acts like a + 20mm adapter, which requires the use of each 20mm larger disc.
